Gov. Espino at Senate Hearing

Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. (right) shakes hand with Senate Blue Ribbon Committee  chairman, Senator Teofisto “TG” Guingona, (left) during the hearing on jueteng probe last October 6 at the Senate Building in Pasay City.  The Governor urged the senators to be “more circumspect and exercise caution in releasing sensitive but unverified information that may besmirch and destroy the reputation of innocent victims.”  He said that the “jueteng expose” of retired Arch. Oscar Cruz caused much grief and anxiety to his family, friends and his aging mother even as he stressed that “I am not, I have never been, and I have no intention of becoming, a jueteng operator.”  (PIO)
